I love it when my elder sister travels
My elder sister was in Bangkok for a business trip and though she did not have much time to go shopping, she managed to get me really cool presents when she returned yesterday!
I was raving bout the Mattifying makeup base and that if she's near a Boots (she loves Boots, her past 2 trips to Thailand, she bought stuff from Boots for me too!), to get it for me. See the number of tubes she bought together with other goodies from Boots? And she got me my favourite Ponds Magic Powder! Yes girls, I'm gonna have a sales post so that you girls can get hold of this makeup base that I've raved!
And she got me this too! I tried it last night and it did not sting my eye! I'm very particular bout wipes that stings the eyes but surprizingly, this doesnt! And I love the plastic flap closure!
Last but not least, she got me this MAC Emanuel Unargo Eyeshadow in Mineral. Adding this into my collection, I have officially hit over 75 pots of single MAC eyeshadows! Excluding pre-made quads, palettes and the MES! WOO HOOO!
Prior leaving for the airport to pick my sister, Mr Postman came with yet another package for me!
Remember my entry on Gel liners? Well, a sweet angel, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) buzzingbubblescontacted me and said she wanted me to try a Japanese gel eyeliner from Sasa. I've seen it at Sasa but wasn't willing to spend. I have no idea what the brand is though.
So sweet of her eh?
Oh oh oh, I dont know if its coincidental or that she knows that I loves Hello Kitty, she had the container wrapped with Hello Kitty tissue. How cute is that!

jus to check, u were saying that the ponds magic powder is a loose powder that has excellent oil and blemish control. so do i apply it below the foundation? after the makeup base/primer?

awww, thanks! ;) i use it to set my foundation (after primer, after foundation). ;) they are all tinted but its just the color, it doesn't affect the product nor will it show on your face. :) Wed, Nov. 12th, 2008 04:29 pm (UTC)

I've used a pack of those wipes. Mediocre! I didn't understand what the raves were all about. They were dry - I much prefer the wetter MAC ones - and took a while to clean off everything. The ones at the bottom (well, top, really; since I store my wipes upside down) fared better. I agree that they don't sting though. It wasn't on my 'To Buy' list actually. She randomly bought it coz recently, I've been into wipes. Surprizingly, it cleanses my eye makeup pretty well without stinging my eyes. I heard that MAC stings. Does it? Wed, Nov. 12th, 2008 05:35 pm (UTC)
