I dated bestie out for lunch on Saturday at 1 of our favourite malls, Parkway Parade and how could I miss out on the huge Watsons in the Basement level! As patient as she usually is when I'm at Watsons (she's calls it my 'playground'), she wanted to find out if I am able to resist getting any cosmetic(s) but still make a purchase of products that I really required. I call this my...... little challenge!
I ended up with 2 huge bags but I've only paid less than S$40! Now, thats quite a deal isn't it?
I bought a pack of Watsons house brand cotton pads(the 4 women in my house uses this like crazy and we all love Watsons's house brand cotton pads for its economical price!), 3 packs of Watsons house brand Hand Soap refills(there's an ongoing promo currently! S$1.95 per pack, Buy 2 get 1 free!), a QVS tweezer(both my sisters love this brand of tweezer), a pack of Mentholatum Acnes Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes(I could not resist getting it. review of this product tomorrow!), a trial pack of Corty Facial & Neck Mask(this is cheap! S$1.95 for both before an additional 5% discount!) Ora2 Stain Clear Dental Paste & Mouth Wash(this is a new product exclusive to Watsons and it was pretty affordable)and a box of Watsons house brand Green Tea Facial Mask(I got this for 50% off the retail price for their purchase with purchase promo!). All these for S$38+!

While browsing the shelves of products, I can't help but to notice that Watsons has a wide variety of house brand products today and I've been a fan of their sheet masks recently. enon_enen sent me some Watsons house brand Birds Nest Masks late last year and I love it! I always have the impression that sheet masks does not work as well as mud packs but I've been addicted to it recently! Maybe I should return and get the Buy 2 Get 1 Free house brand masks too!
Trying to resist a cosmetic purchase was simply like a drug addict fighting the withdrawal symptoms because of the wide variety of cosmetics especially Japanese cosmetics that they now carry instore!
Look what I meant by fighting the withdrawal symptoms? Even when I'm a self-proclaim 'not a blush lover', this Canmake display stand looks so tempting! Not forgetting that there's a 20% (excluding promotional and new arrivals) for most of the cosmetic brands. I was extremely tempted to get the Fasio palette (not the gradation palette since its a new product) but I resisted!
I have always been on the look out for off-the-shelf Teeth Whitening products that really work because I do have a little staining problem from alcohol and caffeine. Ora2 Stain Clear is a new product has just been launched and its very reasonably priced! My younger sister and I are on a challenge with this set of products that I've just bought. We have taken a 'before' pic and I'll reveal it after 2 weeks - a month upon using this.
Some of you girls would have probably noticed this by now. Watsons has brought in products from Victoria Secrets and Bath & Body Works. Though its definitely marked up from the States but we are catching up with the rest of the world aren't we?

I'm getting all excited!!

i went watson just now with my friend.. i got 5 pack of mask.. lol..hahahaa... 2 green tea (purchase with purchase) , 1 aloe, 1 chamomile, 1 rose water.. lol.. mulitple packs of milk..
i have had some really dry patches (my skin was practically flaking) on my chin recently and no matter how much moisturizer i used, it was still patchy and flaky. i went home, placed a piece of green tea mask into the fridge, after dinner, i put it on, and the next day, my dry patches were gone. like REALLY gone. like OMG gone!
Oh, watsons! I went to the Bugis one a couple of weeks ago (have not been to any in last 3 months), and nearly fainted in shock at the variety of stuff available there.
